Research Studies

The Reproductive Medicine Network, sponsored by the National Institute of Health, is looking for volunteers for research studies comparing the effectiveness of different methods for helping women become pregnant:

Unexplained Infertility Study
The goal of this study is to find the best possible way to help women with Unexplained Infertility achieve pregnancy. We are looking for women whom have been trying to conceive and have regular menstrual cycles. In this research study, all participants will receive study medications free, that will help produce a few eggs each month. To qualify, you must be 18 to 40 years old, meet the study criteria, and be willing to try to achieve pregnancy.

Polycystic Ovary Infertility Study
The goal of this study is to find the best possible way to help women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome achieve pregnancy. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a hormonal imbalance in women characterized by excess male hormones that can contribute to infertility. Common symptoms include excess hair growth, oily skin, acne, obesity, and infrequent or absent periods. In this research study, all participants will receive study medications free that will help produce an egg each month. To qualify, you must be 18 to 40 years old, meet the study criteria, and be willing to try to achieve pregnancy.

We also have other studies involving female sexual dysfunction, uterine fibroids, hormone replacement, bone loss, or male infertility. For more information, please call: 248-352-8200 X1032.
